She was born May 14, 1956 in Kellogg, Idaho. Diannia Laster entered her Heavenly home, Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the age of 67. He was a satellite technician, and was a member of the Wickes Church of Christ. Her mother died when she was only 2 years of age. His college years were interrupted when he served a tour of duty in Vietnam as an E4 Specialist in the 266th Chemical Division of the U.S. Army. In 2001, Patricia was wed to the love of her life, Robert Dean Thomas, in De Queen, Arkansas. He then started his 35 year coaching career in 1987, two years in Marlin, Texas, three years as defensive coordinator in Moody, Texas, five years as defensive coordinator at Murfreesboro, Arkansas and three years as athletic director and head coach in Prescott, Arkansas and sixteen years at Dierks, Arkansas, one year at Horatio, Arkansas, and five more years in Mineral Springs, ending his career in spring of 2022. He is survived by his wife, Angela Golden Taylor; his daughter and son-in-law, Destiny and Kevin Rodgers of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Marie Taylor of Idabel, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lisa Taylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Robbin Shute of Nashville; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Janie and James Pannell of Gillham, Arkansas and Debbie Golden of Dierks; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Paulette Golden of Dierks; one special cousin, Deede Reed of Nashville and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends. Willie worked more than forty years for Coy Wiles Tire Company in De Queen, and later worked nine years for the Sevier County Road Department. She is survived by her husband, Wesley Arrington of De Queen; two brothers, Michael Strayer of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania and Steve Strayer of Florida; two sisters, Olive Strayer of Chicago, Illinois and Billie Jo and husband, Jim French of Ramey, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Jerri Lee and husband, Alvin Way of Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania, Cristal and husband, Bruce Jernigan of El Dorado, Arkansas and Candy and husband, James Nishida of Shawville, Pennsylvania; one son, Michael and wife, Carolyn Socash of De Queen, twelve grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews family and friends.
